A visit to Cowabunga Creamery is so much more than just a stop for ice cream! Our family discovered Cowabunga years ago as one of the few places where we can get dairy-free ice cream. We have remained fans, not only because of the delicious ice cream, but for the overall warm and welcoming experience.
Visiting Cowabunga is a little like going back to a simpler time and taking a trip to Hawaii. From the moment you walk in to Cowabunga, you feel that you'd like to stay awhile. Children and adults of all ages come regularly after school and on the weekends to eat their ice cream and hang out. The whole store is decorated with a surfing and ocean theme, with surf boards on the walls and a chalk-board menu in the shape of a shark, giving it a relaxed Hawaiian feel.

Cowabunga is truly a local family treasure. We appreciate how it has become a community gathering place, its commitment to offering dairy-free options and to preserving the environment by using all compostable materials. As an added bonus, the shop is also available for birthday parties. It was the perfect setting for our son's Star Wars birthday party extravaganza where even a visiting Darth Vader was influenced by Cowabunga's powers to leave the dark side behind.

If I wanted to get ice cream, I would go to Cowabunga! If I wanted to have a party, I would go to Cowabunga! If I wanted to do anything at all, you know what I am going to say...I would go to Cowabunga!
Cowabunga is truly a wonder. Its a place where you could hang out and eat ice cream all day. I love the scenery, the people there are very nice and the ice cream cannot be beat. Sitting at the surf board table makes you feel like you're surfing and eating at the same time. Because they have ice-cream that is also dairy free, Cowabunga has something everyone can enjoy. It is one of the best places on earth and I'm going to go there tomorrow because I like it so much. I hope you'll go and enjoy it as much as I do.
