SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA— As the national Coastal Cleanup Day approaches, the County of San Mateo has announced more than 50 locations for residents to get their hands dirty and help cleanup campaigns in their neighborhoods.

Coastal Cleanup Day is part of an international effort to keep trash out of waterways. In San Mateo County, it will be held Saturday, September 18 from 9 a.m. to noon.
