CSM Women Hoops Finish Sixth in Own Tournament
The Bulldogs host American River at 5 p.m. Friday.

Mills grad Amanda Lee scored 18 points but a barrage of 3-pointers proved too much to overcome as the College of San Mateo women's basketball team dropped a 77-65 decision to Santa Monica in the consolation finals of the Tom Martinez Women’s Basketball Invitational Sunday.
Half Moon Bay grad Marina Koloamatangi added 12 points, Jenna David had 11, and Angelique Gibbs 10 as CSM lost for the third time in four games.
The Bulldogs (3-7) host American River at 5 p.m. Friday in a nonconference contest before taking time off for Christmas. They return to action on Dec. 28th at the Foothill tournament.
The Corsairs (6-7) opened the game with a 12-5 run and College of San Mateo never recovered. Santa Monica hit 11 3-pointers in the game.
Notre Dame grad Kate Larson, who recorded a double-double in CSM's 81-72 win over Hartnell on Saturday with 23 points and 12 rebounds, fouled out with 5:16 left in the game. He had eight rebounds and six points. Larson missed most of CSM’s November games with an injury.
Reedley won the tournament championship game, 71-52 over Contra Costa. Ohlone took third place, 53-36, over Allan Hancock.
