Down Power Lines Causes Road Closure In San Mateo County
PG&E workers are fixing the power lines.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA -- A portion of Alpine Road in unincorporated San Mateo County is closed just east of Pescadero Creek Road due to live power lines that have fallen across the roadway early this morning, according to the county.
The county said in a statement released through a county alert system around 3:45 a.m. that PG&E is enroute to the area. It is unclear how the wires fell on the roadway.
No further information was immediately available.
