Serenade offers a bouquet of beautiful music, ranging from the Renaissance to today. Songs about larks, crickets, bluebirds, swans, and lambs will delight and intrigue you! The program also features several paired pieces that highlight contrasts in settings of the same or similar texts. The performance will be followed by a reception with delicious treats and a raffle of garden-themed items. Proceeds will benefit Masterworks Chorale and the Galen Marshall Fund, which supports Masterworks’ upcoming 50th anniversary season.
