MagicFlutes announces its annual Spring Concert on Friday May 4 at 7 PM. MagicFlutes, a 28-piece flute orchestra with piccolos, orchestral flutes, alto flutes, bass flutes and contra bass flute, has been performing in the Bay Area for over 25 years. The group is under the direction of Pamela Ravenelle.
The concert will include works by Massenet, Chabrier, Bach, and Mozart. Special all-flute arrangements of Bacchanale, by Saint-Saens and Over the Rainbow, by Arlen-Harburgs will be debuted.
Tickets are $10 at the door. A reception will follow the concert.
