The five-member San Mateo County Planning Commission advises the Board of Supervisors on proposed development, zoning changes and other related issues in the unincorporated county.
Commissioners are appointed by the Board of Supervisors to four-year terms. The group typically meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month.
