San Mateo Downtown Lion Dance

San Mateo Vice Mayor/Councilman David Lim, DownTown Merchants Association and Self Help for the Elderly are hosting this years Chinese New Years Lion Dance. The year of the Dragon

Lion Dancers will be performing throughout San Mateo's DownTown to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dragon.

Peformances from 11am to 2pm at the US Bank parking lot at San Mateo Drive and 3rd Ave, plus two Lion Dance troups will be going from store to store to bring good luck to each business

Booths from local retailers will also be in the parking lot. Talbot's with several  demo electric bicycles, Carl Ward photography, Kaiser Permanente, Shaolin Cultural Center, DownTown Merchants Assciation, Kaffee Haus, Daily Journal, SM Police Department and of course a hotdog stand by Fletchs Hotdogs, and additional booths as they sign up for this event!!!
