Gilroy 2040 General Plan Goes Under Review: Report

GILROY, CA — A draft of Gilroy’s 2040 General Plan will go under review before the city’s Planning Commission Thursday, The Gilroy Dispatch reports.

The review will be held online during a public hearing Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

The General Plan reflects the community’s values and policy goals that are intended to figure prominently in the city’s future land-use decisions, the report said.

The City Council, which has the final say on the General Plan, is scheduled to review the documents during a Nov. 2 meeting, the report said.
