Home Burglary Stopped In SMC After Alarms Were Set Off In The Residence: Police
Multiple alarms were activated and the intruder could be seen on security cameras, police said.
HILLSBOROUGH, CA — Officers thwarted a home burglary after receiving a call that an intruder had set off alarms and could be seen on surveillance footage in the house, police said.
At around 9:11 p.m. on Saturday, Hillsborough Police Department officers said they received a report that multiple alarms had been activated at a home on the 800 block of Darrell Road.
Police said that the person who called to report the alarms also said they were watching the security cameras in the home and could see an unknown person inside the residence.

Officers said they established a perimeter around the home and arrested the suspect on suspicion of residential burglary and possession of burglary tools.
No injuries were reported.
