How To Help CZU Lightning Fire Evacuees
Contributions to Puente Pescadero and the Northern California chapter of the National Red Cross will benefit those impacted by the wildfire.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County officials are directing those who want to donate to fire evacuees consider contributing to two groups who are accepting cash donations that will help those impacted by the CZU Lightning Complex fire.

The county said contributions to Puente Pescadero and the Northern California chapter of the National Red Cross will help residents who have been displaced by the raging wildfire.
Separate lightning-sparked fires in San Mateo and Santa Cruz counites that started around 3 a.m. on Sunday have merged and have burned through a combined 40,000 acres with zero percent containment as of 8 a.m. according to Cal Fire.

The blaze has destroyed 20 structures and 8,593 others are threatened.
