LOS GATOS, CA — A popular South Bay sports bar is passing on football amid the coronavirus, The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Double D’s Sports Grille’s owners said that while its restricted to serving customers outdoors under a Santa Clara County health order, it won’t bring its big screen TVs outdoors because it wants to discourage customers from lingering for extended periods at a time when its seating capacity was trimmed from 150 to 60, the report said.

“I don’t want to sound like ‘woe is me’ or I am cheap or something,” Dean Devincenzi told The Mercury News.
