Boston Private Bank & Trust Company hires Marshall E. Lewis as Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Lending.

San Mateo, Calif. — (October 14, 2014) — Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, a leading wealth management and private banking company, announces Marshall E. Lewis has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending.
With more than 36 years of experience in the banking industry, including over 20 in commercial and retail bank management, Marshall’s primary focus is managing and developing a lending team responsible for managing a portfolio of existing commercial and private banking relationships, originating new financing transactions and cross-selling the Bank’s wide array of products and services.
In his prior positions, Marshall served as Sales Manager, Commercial Real Estate and Private Capital Lending at Stonecrest Financial; Senior Vice President and Region Area Manager, Business Banking at Wells Fargo; and held various leadership roles in business development and relationship management at Bank of America.

Marshall has served on the Oakland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as a representative to the California Black Chamber of Commerce. He holds a California real estate license and has also volunteered with Santa Maria Urban Ministries through the Episcopal Church in San Jose.
