Nursing Open House

College of San Mateo’s Nursing Program welcomes alumni, current nursing students, members of the medical community and former and current nursing faculty and staff to an Open House to celebrate the program’s 50th anniversary. Highlights include:

• Tours led by CSM nursing students of the nursing skills lab and
  other nursing facilities
• A display of historical nursing program photos
• Networking opportunities and an opportunity for alumni to reconnect
• Refreshments

About the Program
CSM’s first Nursing Program class graduated in May 1965 with 18 graduates--all women. In May 2015, 47 students will graduate from the program, 7 men and 37 women. A majority of this year’s graduates have a variety of health care worker experience and many hold other degrees. Over the past 50 years, a total of 2,158 students have graduated from CSM’s Nursing Program.
