Peninsula City Reports 2nd Pedestrian-Related Crash In 3 Days

The incident is the second involving a pedestrian within a three-day span in this Peninsula city.

MILLBRAE, CA — A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening, Millbrae Police Bureau officials said.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of El Camino Real at Millbrae Avenue at 7:10 p.m. on the report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The incident is the second involving a pedestrian within a three-day span in this Peninsula city.

Early Friday morning, a pedestrian was critically injured after being struck on southbound El Camino Real just south of Center Street, less than a mile away from the site of Sunday’s crash.

The pedestrian in the most recent collision was hospitalized and is in stable condition. The driver was released from the scene after investigation determined no crime had been committed. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
