'Prolific' Peninsula Burglar Nabbed, Sheriff's Office Says
Sheriff's officials say the man has been linked to a half-dozen commercial burglaries on the Peninsula.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A man accused in a series thefts on the Peninsula has been arrested, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said this week. Details about the alleged crime spree are limited, but sheriff's officials say 46-year-old Andre Murphy was wanted in connection to "at least" six commercial burglaries.
Sheriff's Det. Rosemerry Blankswade said the "prolific burglar" is suspected in commercial burglaries in the cities of Half Moon Bay, Millbrae and San Carlos — and there may be more.
"San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office detectives obtained an arrest warrant for those burglaries, but there may have been more in other cities throughout the greater bay area," Blankswade said in a news release.
