At 10:19 a.m. on Friday, the San Mateo Police Department sent out an alert stating there was a crash on E 3rd Avenue and S El Dorado Street and that westbound traffic is closed from Humboldt Street to 3rd Avenue. Police also said to avoid traffic on El Dorado Street from 2nd Avenue to 4th Avenue. Police said significant traffic delays are expected and to use alternate routes until further notice.
