Road Closed In SMC Due To Downed Power Line: Police

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Police said they shut down a road Tuesday in Redwood City due to a downed high-voltage power line.

At 9:11 a.m. on Tuesday, the Redwood City Police Department sent out an alert stating Broadway was closed between Charter Street and Douglas Avenue for the next few hours due to a downed high-voltage power line. PG&E and the RCPD are on scene, police said.

Police said significant traffic delays are expected and to use alternate routes until further notice.
