SamTrans Bus Involved In Wreck In San Mateo

SAN MATEO, CA — A San Mateo County Transit District bus was involved in a collision with a car this afternoon in San Mateo, according to the California Highway Patrol and SamTrans.

The collision was reported at 3:35 p.m. on westbound state Highway 92 near Alameda de las Pulgas.

SamTrans spokeswoman Tasha Bartholomew said a Toyota Camry hit the left side of a Route 56 bus, causing minor damage. The Toyota then rear-ended an SUV, Bartholomew said.

CHP officials said no injuries have been reported.
