San Mateo Announces New Volunteer Opportunities

The city of San Mateo has announced the following new volunteer opportunities for residents looking for a way to give back to the community.

1.       Junior Warriors Basketball League needs 12 volunteers to coach kids 8-14 yrs old at King Recreation Center, 2/9-3/30.  www.cityofsanmateo.org/DocumentView.aspx?DID=11712

2.       The City of San Mateo is hosting "Holiday Festival of Dance" at San Mateo High School on Sunday, Dec. 9. Volunteers for the youth program are needed to help: 

• Set up and stage on Friday, Dec. 7, 3:00 - 5:00 PM
• Decorate lobby on Saturday, Dec. 8, Noon - 2:00 PM
• Strike after the show on Sunday, Dec. 9, 7:00 - 8:30 PM
