San Mateo Auto Burglary Suspects Arrested
The suspects were issued felony citations and released due to COVID-19 jail restrictions, police said.
SAN MATEO, CA – Two auto burglary suspects were arrested early Monday morning in San Mateo, police said.
Police located the suspects after responding to a report of two men with flashlights trying to open car doors in the area of Palm Avenue and 19th Avenue just before 2:30 a.m.
The suspects were safely detained and found to be in possession of stolen property from a nearby vehicle, police said. Officers also located vehicles with broken windows, gloves, and a window punch.

Due to COVID-19 jail restrictions, both suspects were transported to the San Mateo Police Department and released with felony citations.
