San Mateo County's Outdoor Burn Suspension Lifted
Permits to burn are still required, though. (breaking)

The suspension of all outdoor burning in Cal Fire's state and local responsibility areas under contract with the agency are being lifted Wednesday, officials with the agency said this week.
The suspension is being lifted in Marin, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Sonoma and Napa counties and portions of Solano County.
Cal Fire officials said the suspension was put in place because of weather conditions and the large amount of resources that were committed to extinguishing the wildfires in Northern California.
