San Mateo Man Arrested After Alleged Domestic Violence On Woman
The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office on Thursday morning arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder.
SAN MATEO, CA — The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office on Thursday morning arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder and other crimes following an alleged domestic violence attack oh a woman.
Sergio Hernandez-Dominguez, 28, of Redwood City, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, carjacking, criminal threats, robbery, domestic battery and kidnapping, according to the Sheriff's Office.
On Wednesday at 10:57 p.m., deputies responded to the 2900 block of Crocker Avenue in unincorporated San Mateo County on a report of a physical altercation between a man and a woman.

Deputies said Hernandez-Dominguez physically assaulted the victim and caused serious injury to her before stealing a vehicle to flee the area.
On Thursday at 12:44 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop on Hernandez-Dominguez in Monterey County, and he was taken into custody.
