San Mateo Man Arrested Friday On Suspicion Of Stalking Ex-Girlfriend
A 41-year-old Brisbane man reportedly threatened to shoot her and anyone in her home, police said.
SAN MATEO, CA — A 41-year-old Brisbane man was arrested Friday on suspicion of stalking his ex-girlfriend, a San Mateo resident, after he allegedly threatened to shoot her and anyone in her home, police said.
The man's ex-girlfriend told police he had been stalking her since February 2022, calling her, peeping through her window and threatening her life and the lives of those around her, police said.
Brewer called the victim Thursday around 11 p.m., allegedly saying he was driving to San Mateo to shoot her and anyone in her house, according to police. He also allegedly mentioned buying grenades.

Officers began searching for the man, and an officer on patrol found him parked on the shoulder of northbound Highway 101 at the State Route 92 connector in San Mateo around 12:32 a.m. Friday, police said.
Officers took him into custody without incident, according to police, who described him as "heavily intoxicated" at the time. The officers found a baseball bat and four knives in his van, but no guns or grenades, police said.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of stalking and driving under the influence and taken to jail, according to police.
This investigation is ongoing, police said.
