I’m Don Frances, editor of San Mateo Patch. Welcome! Patch is an online news and information site covering all things San Mateo – from restaurants to schools to City Hall.

If you’d like to know what issues have your neighbors flocking to the Council or school board meetings, or which developments are still on track, or how High Speed Rail is coming, keep an eye on this site, which is updated daily. Or if you have something in mind you’d like to see covered, drop us a line on the site, or at don.frances@patch.com.
