Woman Fatally Crashes Into Boulder On Interstate In SMC: Police
The woman, who was in her 30s, was the only person in the vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A woman in her 30s died Sunday morning after she crashed her car into a boulder along Interstate 280 in the unincorporated Hillsborough area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. in the center median of southbound I-280, just south of the Black Mountain Road and Hayne Road exit, CHP stated.

The woman's black Volkswagen Tiguan was found down a ditch in the center median at around 7:30 a.m. after CHP received additional calls about the crash.
The woman was the vehicle’s only occupant, police said.
