2 Arrested In Marin Probation Sweep

Probation officers conducted surprise check-ins​ on Marin County residents who had been previously convicted of driving under the influence.

SAN RAFAEL, CA—The Marin Probation Department says officers arrested two people for violating probation during a Wednesday operation.

Probation officers conducted surprise check-ins on Marin County residents who had been previously convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Probation Department says officers searched 22 homes. Six people were compliant with the terms of their probation.

Three were found to be in violation of their probation terms, though one "failed to provide a valid address." The Probation Department says it is investigatingthis person's whereabouts.

Two people were arrested on charges of substance abuse and driving with a suspended license.
