3 Arrested In Marin DUI Offender Compliance Check
A total of 34 offenders on supervised probation for alcohol-related offenses were contacted during the operation.

MARIN COUNTY, CA – Three probationers were arrested last week during a DUI compliance check in Marin County. A total of 34 offenders on supervised probation for alcohol-related offenses were contacted during the operation.
The operation was led by Marin County Probation Department's Special Programs Unit with assistance from the Coordination of Probation Enforcement Team, San Rafael Police Department, California Highway Patrol, and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Teams split up across the county to search homes and vehicles belonging to DUI offenders. Three searches revealed alcohol and/or drug paraphernalia, which violated probation.

"DUI enforcement is essential to public safety," Deputy Probation Officer Gerard McCarthy said. "Marin County Probation is committed to ensuring offenders are complying with their terms and conditions of probation."
Funding for the program was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
