Alejandro Zeigler Quartet - Tango Music Concert
Reception, Concert and Conversation. Don't miss this phenomenal group of professional tango musicians from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The concert focuses on the different periods and styles of the Argentine Tango, from its origins in 1882 to the Golden Age of Tango in the 1930’s-50’s, and finally, the revolutionary age of tango by Astor Piazzolla in the 1960s. Alejandro Ziegler’s own compositions will round off the fascinating historical tour of this passionate and romantic style of music.
Every piece is presented and explained so you can understand the social context in which tango evolved.
