Aluvi Launches New Pilot Program Matching Neighbors to Form Commuter Carpools
Aluvi opens it's neighborhood matching platform to the entire North Bay with the hopes of increasing commuter carpools
Aluvi has made its neighborhood matching pilot program available to the entire North Bay after overwhelming success in Mill Valley. Aluvi is a web- based, consumer software solution that automatically matches individuals within their perspective neighborhoods. The matching is based on commute preferences and work locations that form commuter carpools. We’ve taken a simple approach to solve a complex problem by automating the matching process.
Now that gas prices are at a record low, traffic at an all-time high, and commuting still consuming a large portion of personal incomes, carpooling is one of the most effective ways to commute. The hyper-local economy and social networks such as Nextdoor are seeing incredible success. We see carpooling becoming a more plausible scenario for commuters in their communities.
We also have a transportation management platform currently in development that will be offered to small, medium, and large companies in the North Bay as well as universities and hospitals.
