The American Indian Art Show - Marin

(previously Marin Show: Art of the Americas) February 19-21, 2016 - Held in conjunction with SF Tribal & Textile Arts Show

The American Indian Art Show – Marin (previously Marin Show: Art of the Americas) has been regarded as one of the nation’s most highly rated showcases of antique and contemporary American Indian art. The 2016 show will take place SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20th and SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 21st in the Marin Center Exhibit Hall where collectors and art aficionados from around the country will gather to display their collections and sell both historic and contemporary artifacts. HOURS are 10 – 6 Saturday, 11 – 4 Sunday. Ticket prices are $15 general admission. This year the American Indian Art Show/Marin is being held in conjunction with the San Francisco Tribal & Textile Arts Show, bringing together two historic shows to create one of the major weekends of the year for American Indian and Tribal Art. www.marinshow.com

A special PREVIEW EVENT will take place on Friday, February 19th 5-8pm benefitting the Marin County nonprofit MarinLink (www.marinlink.org) MarinLink serves as an incubator and fiscal sponsor to individuals and groups whose projects range from homeless services, community gardens, health and transportation initiatives, environmental education, veterans programs, and arts organizations. Snacks and beverages are provided – with an opportunity to see the spectacular items hundreds of exhibitors have on display before the show opens to the public. Tickets are $25 payable at the door.

The American Indian Art Show - Marin brings together the passion of the country’s top dealers and artists with both collectors and those interested in exploring the rich cultures of the Americas. Exhibited art includes jewelry, textiles, baskets, pottery, beadwork, sculpture, photography, paintings, books and more, offering quality material for seasoned collectors and first time buyers.
