The small home-town favorite has been using the finest quality San Francisco sourdough for more than forty years for their Red Boy Pizza dough. In fact, they have been making their famous sourdough crust since their first location opened in 1969. Using only the finest ingredients, the gourmet pizza dough is made fresh, hand tossed for each order and topped with a special blend of sauce, cheeses, local produce and high quality authentic Italian ingredients to make their remarkable and memorable pizza.

“We do not use any modern dough conditioners, chemicals, additives, nor preservatives of any kind,” says Radwan.  “Our sourdough used in our pizza is the same as our new Twists, amazing quality and sourdough flavor made the traditional way.  Sourdough actually is better for you and rates a 68 on the glycemic index as opposed to the rating of 100 by other breads.  Making sourdough one of the most nutritious ways to eat grains even for those with glucose intolerance,” he continued.
