In San Rafael: Be part of the climate solution and reduce your carbon footprint!

Resilient Neighborhoods is offering a class - sign up today and learn about simple actions you can take to combat climate change!

In this 5 meeting series, you will learn about specific actions that you can take to both combat climate change and make your household and community more resilient. These actions range from reducing energy and waste to preparing your neighborhoods and homes for emergencies. In a fun and supportive atmosphere, class participants will work together to reduce their carbon footprints by at least 5,000 pounds! This class is a part of the successful Resilient Neighborhoods program, which has helped almost 600 Marin residents reduce more than 2.6 million pounds of carbon emissions.

The class will be held at the San Rafael Community Center from 7-9 pm on the following dates: Sept. 13th, Sept. 27th, Oct. 18th, Nov. 1st and Nov. 15th. To participate in this class, you must have access to your utility bills and to a computer.
