BLOOM and The Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits hosts celebratory event in honor of Women’s History Month

Thursday, March 16th - BLOOM and The Alliance of Career Development Nonprofits hosted a celebratory event as part of a nationwide campaign in honor of Women’s History Month at BLOOM’s San Rafael office. Twenty-five low-income women from Marin County had the opportunity to be fitted and outfitted with professional clothing as well as participate in career skills training to help them prepare for possible employment. As part of the celebration, BLOOM provided a day of workforce training, a professional image class and individual support for women with the goal of enabling them to take action, secure employment and enhance the quality of their lives.
