Police found the suspect a few blocks away from the Billou Street home.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – A suspected burglar was arrested Friday after breaking into a San Rafael home while the residents, including children, were inside, police said.
San Rafael police responded to an in-progress burglary about 7:25 a.m. at a house located on Billou Street. One of the residents spotted the suspect entering the home through an unlocked sliding door and stealing multiple items, said San Rafael police Cpl. James Bellamy. Three adults and two children were at the house at the time.
The suspect fled the area, climbing out of a window, Bellamy said. Officers found the woman a few blocks away. She allegedly had stolen property from the residence in her possession.
