will offer a two-week training session,
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, June 3,4 and 10,11
from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Trained volunteers, 55 and older, then make weekly home
visits to older adult clients and attend weekly supervision groups.

Have you ever been curious about Kabbalah, but unsure what it really is?
Chabad of Novato invites the community to join a new six-week course:&nbsp;The World of Kabbalah.
This engaging course will explore Judaism’s deeper mystical teachings in a clear, thoughtful, and practical way, offering insight into the soul, purpose, inner growth, and the deeper meaning of life.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM on April 21, 28, May 12, 19, 26, and June 2.
The course is open to both in-person and online participants. 
In-person classes will take place at Chabad of Novato, 695 De Long Ave, Novato. 
A Zoom option is available, and recordings will be emailed to participants in case they miss a live class.
Cost: $99, including textbook. 
No previous background is needed.

This class is dedicated to beginners to ceramics only and people who have not done ceramics in many years and need a refresher in techniques. After this session is completed, if students want to continue taking classes they must sign up for another session of classes. This class is not a repeat class. **The requirements to attend an intermediate, intermediate/advanced class are knowing the fundamental building techniques, including and not limited to how to use the slab roller, scoring and slipping, pinching, coiling, using molds, and knowing how to glaze. Fundamentals are not taught at intermediate and advanced levels, instead, students build on the skills they have acquired so they can achieve more complex projects and continue towards more advanced techniques. No exceptions. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Award winning artist, Nadia Tarzi-Saccardi, is the director for the Terra Linda Ceramic Artists program since 2017. Nadia first studied ceramics and sculpture forty years ago in Strasbourg, France and for the last 15 years has been teaching ceramics to adults &amp; children across the Bay Area. She was awarded the Best of Marin 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 for Best Art Instructor and Best Art Studio. 10,000 Degrees hosts its annual fundraising gala ‘ONE Amazing Community’ on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Marin Civic Center Exhibit Hall in San Rafael.
The ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala will celebrate and recognize the contributions of many in the community who have played a role in helping achieve educational equity and in supporting students from low-income backgrounds to fulfill their dreams of becoming college graduates. Proceeds from the gala will benefit students and programs across the eight Bay Area counties that 10,000 Degrees serves.
Guests attending the 10,000 Degrees ‘ONE Amazing Community’ gala will enjoy a cocktail reception, a seated dinner, and an inspirational program featuring special guests, followed by a festive after-party.

​The Paths to Possibility 5K is a family-friendly community event open to participants of all ages and abilities. All proceeds benefit the Helix School’s programs for neurodivergent youth from age 5 to 22.
