Marin Ventures is a day program for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We have, as part of our services, a robust fine arts program that includes drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, music and more.
We’re proud to announce that several Marin Ventures artists will once again be showcasing their work as part of Marin Open Studios (MOS) - a beloved local tradition for over 30 years.
Please join us for the last weekend of MOS (May 9th and 10th) from 9am - 5pm, to celebrating creativity, inclusion, and the vibrant talents of our community.If you already came for weekend one, there will be a new spread of refreshments, and we will be featuring some additional art: new works from our photography and sculpture programs, in addition to the paintings already on display.
Come visit the studio, and experience the powerful role art plays in self-expression and connection.Learn about the ways we make art making more accessible, see the tools we have found or developed. Many are useful with other tasks as well, for those with disabilities, those experiencing a temporary impairment due to a medical event, or experiencing barriers as they age.
