PARK CHAMPIONS
VOLUNTEERS WANTED
Saturday, November 28
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Want to work off some of those Thanksgiving Day calories without going to a crowded fitness center? Join us on the China Camp State Park trails for our November 28th CSPF Champion workday from 9-1. We will be pruning trail overgrowth, replacing posts and railing on bridges and putting in split rail fencing. Lunch is provided. Camping is offered free for volunteer workers on Friday and/or Saturday nights. Space is limited.
To sign up, go to the volunteer page of the California State Parks Foundation website. Scroll down to the calendar and click on the China Camp State park November 28 event. Your registration helps us arrange for adequate tools, supplies and, of course, lunch. We’ll send information about what to wear, what to bring, an email for camping (if desired), our meeting place and directions. Rain may cancel; we will send an email to registered volunteers no later than 6 a.m. on Saturday, November 28 and put a notice on the FOCC webpage.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we thank you for giving your time and energy to help keep China Camp gorgeous and usable. China Camp is the only California State Park that is operated exclusively by volunteers.
Hope to see you on November 28!
