Deer And Fawns Spotted On Highway 101 In Marin County

SAN RAFAEL, CA – Be careful while commuting to work Tuesday morning. A mother deer and her fawns were spotted on Highway 101 in San Rafael, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The deer and fawns were seen around 7:15 a.m. on northbound Highway 101 at the Lucas Valley Road on-ramp, according to the CHP's incident logs. A deer and fawn were also spotted near the Terra Linda off-ramp. It is not known whether they were were the same deer and fawn.

No other information was immediately available.
