Members of Dominican University of California’s Penguin Student-Athlete Advisory Association and Coaching Corps will be hosting “Junior Penguin Day” on Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to noon at Conlan Center.
The event is a free sports workshop for children kindergarten through eighth grade. Following arrival, registration and introductions, registrants will be divided into groups and participate in four 15-minute sessions for basketball, volleyball, soccer and other fun games. There will be a lacrosse demonstration from 11:25-11:40 a.m. followed by a PSAAC slam dunk basketball competition, free pizza and prize giveaways.
