The San Rafael Park and Recreation Commission meets on the third Thursday of every month at the San Rafael Community Center in order to review issues related to the use of the city's parks and public facilities as well as community recreation programs and activities. The Commission is currently composed of eight members and is chaired by Mark Lubamersky. Commission members are appointed by the San Rafael City Council for four year terms. Agendas detailing specific issues to be discussed at upcoming commission meetings are available on the City of San Rafael website.
