What is it?

Cycling Camp is a 5 week class series lead by USA cycling coach Adam Waskow. This is a great opportunity for anyone from indoor cyclist to competitive athlete to improve their skills, fitness and knowledge of the physiological effects of training and how to push their own individual physical limits. Utilizing Pelo Cycling and Fitness’s Zones Training System and incorporating Heart Rate Training, participants will learn how to reach their own personal fitness and athletic goals.
Who is it for?
Anyone who has taken a group cycling class before and has the desire to improve their fitness will have the skills to take this series. This is a great course for those interested in better understanding and improving their body’s performance levels.
What are the benefits?
Cycle Camp is a more educational setting where participants will increase their knowledge as will as their strength and fitness. This series of classes is designed to teach you to incorporate Heart Rate training along with the Pelo Zone System to reach your personal goals. (All participants must have a Polar compliant heart rate strap)

What is the format?
Cycle Camp will consist of 2 classes per week for 5 weeks. The first class will be two hours long and consists of a one hour lecture and bike fit session followed by a one hour class that includes a Maximal Steady State effort to establish Heart Rate and Effort Zones. Weekly classes will be 75 minutes long and the final class of the series will be a fun yet challenging two hour class and celebration!
When is it?
Our inaugural Cycle Camp takes place Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30pm October 2nd through November 1st.
What does it cost?
The entire series, including fitting, testing, lecture, individual goal setting, weekly classes and end of camp celebration costs $375.00. These services individually would cost over $600, so this is a great value!
