For children who want to try a ballet class, this is a fun introduction. Dancers learn basic ballet with an emphasis on creative expression. Activities include stretching exercises, learning simple dances, free dancing with scarves and playing games that teach social skills. Dancers should wear simple leotards, tights, and ballet slippers.
The spring session will finish with a recital and children will be required to purchase a costume for the event. The deadline for registration and costume/recital fee $48 is March 3.
