Primary Ballet (Kindergarten-Ages 5-6)

This class introduces young children to classical ballet techniques in a supportive atmosphere. Each class includes exercises at the barre, learning primary classical positions, steps, turns and movement combinations and free dancing with scarves. The Spring session will finish with a recital and the children will be required to buy a costume for this event. The deadline to register for Spring and to pay the costume fee of $48 is 1/15/13. Dancers who do not meet the deadline are not guaranteed a spot in the recital session. Children should wear a simple leotard with tights and ballet shoes for class.
