Community members of San Rafael are invited to a fun and exciting tour of Pickleweed Park on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 led by Bahia Vista Elementary School students and PRBO Conservation Science! As a culmination of a 10-week program on Bird Education and Awareness in Communities (BEAC), the 4th and 5th grade students will guide community members through the Park and share what they have learned about its birds and habitats. Tours will begin from the Pickleweed Community Center starting at 8:30, 9:30, and 10:30 am and last about 45 minutes.
