Exercise Program for Parkinson's
The Osher Marin JCC presents an exercise program for people with Parkinson's consisting of aerobic and learning-based exercises.

The Osher Marin JCC is proud to present an exercise program for people with Parkinson’s. This class consists of aerobic and learning-based exercises that challenge your heart and lungs. Other benefits include improved biomechanics, posture, gait and trunk rotation while alleviating stiffness.
Class: Every Wednesday from 1:30p-2:30p

Exercise has been proven to help alleviate the systems of Parkinson’s disease (PD). It is one of the most important keys to living well with PD. Exercise can improve strength, balance, stability and peace of mind. At the time the physician prescribes medications, exercise should also be prescribed.

Jocelyn has been in the business of helping people achieve their physical fitness goals since 1985 and has been at the Marin JCC since 2001. She eared her Master’s as a Health Educator and Exercise Physiologist and is Parkinson’s Delay the Disease certified. In addition to personal training, Jocelyn is one of the therapists in the JCC’s Hydrotherapy Program, teaches Aqua Aerobics, and also works in the water doing personal training.
