Fire Responders, Santa-Cop Deliver Toys To Displaced Fire Victims
First responders and organizations delivered toys to the children and families displaced by an apartment fire in San Rafael.

SAN RAFAEL, CA – First responders and organizations recently delivered toys to the children and families displaced by an apartment fire last Wednesday in San Rafael.
The San Rafael Police Department, the San Rafael Fire Department, the San Rafael Santa-Cop Program and the Salvation Army made the special toy delivery.
On Wednesday, Dec. 26, a two-alarm fire was reported at the Camelot Apartments 10:37 a.m. at 120 Larkspur St.

The fire trapped four people in one of the apartments, and the residents had to use bed sheets tied together to escape out of a rear window.
There were no serious injuries reported in the blaze.

Firefighters managed to knock down the fire shortly after 11 a.m.
The blaze caused heavy fire damage to two second-floor units, and two ground-level units sustained smoke and water damage.
Families and children had the opportunity to visit with the first responders and take tours of the fire trucks and police vehicles.
