Firefighters Conduct Controlled Burn In Marin County
Fire officials asked the public to not report the controlled burn to 911.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — The Marin County Fire Department is slated to conduct a controlled burn Wednesday in San Rafael.
The burn is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. near Highway 101 in the area of St. Vincent's, according to the department. Smoke may be visible from nearby communities, including the areas of San Rafael and Marinwood.
Fire officials asked the public to not report the prescribed burn to 911.
