Friends of San Rafael Library to hold biggest sale of year
Sale at First Presbyterian Church to feature art books

The Friends of the San Rafael Public Library will hold its biggest book sale of the year Friday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 25, in Canoles Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, across the street from the library, corner of Mission and E St.
The Grand Fall Sale will feature thousands of books with a big emphasis on the arts: fine art, photography, architecture, music, design and needle arts. In addition, there will be large selections of children books, history and cooking as well as dozens of other subjects, music CDs and DVDs.
Hours are 2 to 4:30 Friday, Oct. 24, and 9:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. A preview sale for members of the Friends of the San Rafael Public Library will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday. All items will go to half price at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Proceeds will benefit media purchases and programs at the library.
