Resilient Neighborhoods will be hosting two workshops on climate resiliency in San Rafael and Mill Valley beginning Sept. 13.

In these five-course workshops, participants will form EcoTeams with family, friends, co-workers and other community members and will go on a low-carbon diet to lose 5,000 CO2 pounds in 60 days. Participants will learn about and take simple actions that will save the planet and ultimately save them money by trimming energy and waste, conserving water and driving more economically. Plus, participants will make their communities safer and more resilient by preparing emergency and evacuation plans.
